The Pali Lookout is the location of the last major Hawaiian battle that resulted in Oahu being united with the other Islands. It is an amazing view and the pictures just don't do it justice.

| Overlooking Kane`ohe |
| The Ko`olaus Mountains. They separate the windward (where we stayed) and leeward sides of Oahu. |
| Another tunnel through the Ko`olaus. This one is the Likelike highway (pronounced Lee-kay-lee-kay.) |
| Kind of gives you an idea of how steep the cliffs are. |
| Poor picture quality but I had to take a picture of it. This island is call Chinaman's Hat, for obvious reasons. We drive by it almost every time we run errands. No one lives there but you can kayak or swim to it. |
