Lan and Nick's Wedding

We went to Mike's friend Lan's wedding.  I love going to weddings and seeing the traditions of different cultures.  Lan is Cambodian and the actual wedding was 10 hours long the day before and was for family.    The reception had seven courses of food a lot of which was sea food.  They have a tradition where the bride and groom visit each table and people hold food up high and the groom lifts the bride up to eat it.  Other than this food, she can't eat until everyone else is finished with all seven courses!  My favorite tradition was that the bridal party changes their outfits seven or eight times.  The dresses and jewelry were amazing.

The bride and groom also pin flowers on all their guests as they arrive.
