Christmas Eve on the Beach

Abby gets board quickly when we go to the regular beach with just sand and water.  We've been going a little further down the beach to a section called Alligator Pond.  Abby loves playing with the rocks, jumping off the big ones and looking at the fish in the little tidal pools.  We spent the morning at Alligator pond and it was just amazing.

After supper we read the Christmas story and colored pictures of the Nativity.  As a Leonardo tradition, we open presents from siblings on Christmas Eve.  Since Abby doesn't have any siblings I let her pick two presents to open.  She picked the Belle and Ariel barbies from Avo and loved them!  (She loved them even before she opened them.  She would pick them up and hug them and say "My present! My snowman present!" - it had snowman wrapping paper.)
