Christmas

We had a great Christmas.  Abby loved opening her presents and has asked for presents just about every morning since when she walks into the living room and sees the Christmas tree.  She loved the gifts and I'm posting lots of pictures so family can see her reaction to their gifts even if they're not the best quality.

We spent most of the day at home.  We were invited to a family in the ward's house for Christmas dinner.  It was just them, their daughter, son-in-law and his sister.  They have a beautiful house on the beach just down the street from us.  It was nice, laid back and non-traditional.  We had stakes cooked on the grill, baked potatoes and salad.  We visited for a while after until Abby got crazy silly and I was worried she was going to break things :).  It was so great to visit with them on Christmas.  Everyone in the ward here has been wonderful and so welcoming.

The neighbors next door did Christmas on the 26th because a good friend flew in late on Christmas day and they wanted to have the whole day.  They invited us over for Christmas breakfast on Sunday.  It was delicious and the company was great.  Abby loved the french toast and scrambled eggs.  My favorite was the cinnamon rolls they made french toast out of.  Delicious!!!!!
