Friends

On of my favorite things about Christmas is that friends come home to visit.  All of my good friends live far away so it's really nice when they come home and we can get together even if it's only for a few hours. It's been even more fun the past few years now that we have kids and seeing how much fun they have playing together. 

Kati and her boys were here for about six weeks.  It was so nice for Abby and Ben to see each other regularly again. It was really hard for Abby when Ben moved.  They are such good friends and play really well together even though they are so different. Here's an example:

           Abby: Let's play princess.
      
           Ben: Ok.  I'm going to be Spiderman.

          Abby: Let's have a tea party.

          Ben: I'm going to rescue some people stuck in the mud.

          Abby: Then let's get married.

 

  

  

 Ben's little brother Gabe has fun with them too.

 

My good friend Ian from high school was home with his wife Ida and their cute little girl Kess.  Abby loved playing with Kess and being the "big" girl.

 

Tim and Kate also came home with their two girls.  We hadn't seen them in over two years.  Abby and Madi loved playing princesses together.
